Prathima Reddy concentrates her legal practice in civil rights, with a strong emphasis on employment discrimination matters. She regularly represents women, minorities, and underrepresented individuals in litigation against both private and public sector employers involving claims of harassment, discrimination, and wrongful termination.

Ms. Reddy has successfully litigated high-stakes claims of false arrest and police brutality on behalf of her clients. Additionally, she possesses deep experience in labor law, union matters, arbitrations, and entertainment law.
Civil Rights Foundation
Prior to starting her own practice, Ms. Reddy worked at litigation firms in NYC. Her passion for civil rights was ignited at a San Francisco firm working on a landmark class action against FedEx Corp., as well as evaluating unlawful discrimination claims at the D.C. Office of Human Rights.
California Expansion & Academic Research Collaboration
In 2016, The Reddy Law Firm expanded to California after Ms. Reddy passed the California Attorneys’ Examination. While continuing her advocacy in New York, she widened her practice to litigate Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Unruh Civil Rights Act cases in California.
She consults with the UC Hastings Center for WorkLife Law for the advancement of women and minorities in the workplace — combatting family responsibilities discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, and work-life issues affecting both men and women. She conducts practical, intersectional research creating concrete tools that transcend race, class, and gender while delivering trainings to employers, managers, and HR personnel on building harassment-free workplaces.
