Employment Discrimination
Federal and state laws prohibit employers from discriminating against individuals because of their race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age or national origin (and other protected classes) with regard to hiring, termination, promotion, compensation, job training, and other terms and conditions of employment. Employers are also prohibited by law from retaliating against an individual who opposes or challenges such discriminatory policies or practices. The Reddy Law Firm has represented employees of both private companies and government employees against such discrimination and retaliation. Our litigation experience includes representation of those who have suffered adverse employment actions (such as failure to hire or promote and termination), harassment, hostile work environment and retaliation. We provide representation at every stage of a complaint including counseling employees on their rights, negotiating with employers, representing employees in the administrative process, and litigating in federal or state court.
